Border Security Force (BSF) invites applications from Eligible MALE candidates for permanent absorption to the 1670 posts of Constable (Tradesmen) in various States and Union Territories of India to Central Govt.
Applicants may apply by prescribed Application format on plain paper with passport photograph affixing on application form, duly self attested by the candidates, be to sent to concerned Headquarter / RA, Under which their state falls, on or before 30 Days from publication of this notification through post alongwith following documents.
Vacancies & Eligibility Criteria :
Post Vacancy Age Limit Qualification Pay Scale
Constable (Tradesmen) 1670 18 - 23 Matriculation with 02 year of experience in respective trades
or
one year certificate course from Industrial Training Institute / Vocational Institute with at least 01 year experience in the trade
or
02 years diploma from Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade Rs.5,200 - 20,200/- * Age measured as on closing date of application form.

Mode of Recruitment :
Selection will be based on candidates performance in Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Statndard Test, Trade Test and Written Test.
The candidates who qualify in the PET/PST and Trade Test will be required to appear in written exam.
The Written Test for 100 marks containing 100 questions will consist of only OMR based objective type multiple choice to be answered using a pen.
The duration of the written Test will be 02 hours.
Fee Structure :
Application fee is Rs.50/- and Nil for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates. The required application fee shall be pay through crossed bank draft/Indian Postal Order in favour of concerned IG/DIG/Commandant payabe at the bank or post office of concerned Headquater, under which their state falls.
