Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi : Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi will conduct Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)’s September 2014 Edition for finding suitable candidate’s for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII.

The Notification has been issued by CBSE and eligible  candidates may apply Online for these Posts by Aug 04, 2014. The Exam will be conducted on Sep 21, 2014.

Posts

Posts – Teachers for classes I to VIII (Class 1 – 5 (Primary Stage), 6 – 8 (Elementary Stage))
Eligibility – For Classes I-V - Intermediate with at least 50 per cent marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Classes VI-VIII - Graduation with at least 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).


Dates
last date of Online application : August 04, 2014
Last date of fee deposit (Offline): August 06, 2014
CTET 2014 exam : September 21, 2014

Pattern

Questions in CTET will be Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) of one mark each. There will be no negative marking.

There will be two papers of CTET.
(i) Paper I – Those intending to be a teacher for classes I to V.
(ii) Paper II – Those intending to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.


Application Fee

Paper – I or Paper – II  - Rs 600 (General/OBC), Rs 300 (SC/ST/PWD)
Paper – I & II – Rs 1000 (General/OBC), Rs 500 (SC/ST/PWD)

Fee may be paid or By Debit/Credit Card (Online – by Aug 04, 2014) or Through Challan by deposit of prescribed fees in CBSE Account with Syndicate Bank or  Canara Bank in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi (Offline by Aug 06, 2014).

How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates may Apply Online Latest by Aug 04, 2014 and pay the Fee (Online / Offline).
Upload Photo / Signature as Required.
After Applying Online, take a Print of Online Application form for future use. Do not send it to CBSE  at this time.
